Product Overview
Peer Review - An EvaluMed, Board Certified, physician review of medical records/ medical leave requests and various related documentation. Medical Records Analysis I (MRA I) :

Specifically designed for medically disputed cases with 50 pages or less of pertinent medical records
- A brief summary of medical records including a review of the diagnosis, followed by the medically supported, written prognosis
- Provides a snapshot of the medical issues surrounding a request for leave or injury claim
Medical Records Analysis II (MRA II) :
- Specifically designed as a comprehensive review and analysis of medical records exceeding 50 pages
- Summary of medical records including a review of the diagnosis, followed by the medically supported, written prognosis
- Medical analysis for medical disputes that are often multifaceted including multiple diagnoses
Examinations - A physical examination of an individual performed by a Board Certified Physician. This exam includes a verbal history from the examinee, a thorough review of all medical records and films to determine the diagnosis and prognosis of the medical condition in dispute, and delivering a comprehensive, medically supported analysis and written report.
Independent Medical Examination (IME):
- Conducted to verify or dispute an existing diagnosis of a medical claim or request for leave
- Provides a second, impartial, medically supported opinion by a neutral, specialty specific, medical authority
- Helps clarify issues related to absence management including work restrictions, disability assessments, prognosis and accommodations
Fitness for Duty :
- Focused on answering one specific question, “Is the employee capable of performing the essential job functions with reasonable accommodations?”
- Provides a second, impartial, medically supported opinion by a neutral specialty specific, medical authority
- Assessments can be done to determine if an employee is capable of remaining on the job
- Protects the employer from further injuries caused by an employee’s premature return to work or prevent additional losses when an employee is no longer capable of performing the essential functions of their job.
